ABOUT

Centering Community Voice is a movement to place the perspectives, opinions, and goals of community residents at the heart of community health system transformation with the goal of achieving equitable health outcomes for all.

These resources were developed, in part, with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, but do not necessarily represent the views or endorsement of the foundation.

This effort emerged from the learning and sense-making of 25 years of on-the-ground community health transformation efforts supported by the Georgia Health Policy Center. The resources provided here were developed with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in 2022 and 2023.

THE DOCUMENTARY

Centering Community Voice: Stories of Lived Experiences features the story of three communities and the lessons learned while working to transform community health with residents at the center of their efforts.

The Georgia Health Policy Center invites you to screen the documentary as a way to introduce partners and stakeholders to the importance of community voice, and to inspire community residents and community organizations to continue to press for changes in how community-wide efforts are identified, planned, and executed.
